PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

The surface of our doors is a high-tech super film, manufactured in Europe. It is scratch and abrasion-resistant, stain-resistant, chemical resistant, light-fast and easy to clean. Water beads up and runs off.

The material won’t fade or yellow. It’s unaffected by 212° dry heat or steam and contains no plasticizers or formaldehyde. The technical specifications are:

This high-performance film encases very stable core materials. You can feel the quality of the materials in the weight of the doors.

Our center panel cores are high-end particleboard. They are CARB phase two II Compliant (California Air Resources Board), so they meet the highest governmental standard for product quality. The board is made from the shavings of a lumber mill that makes structural lumber for home buildings. Because it contains 100% recycled/recovered fibers, it is Eco-Certified by the Composite Panel Association, signifying compliance with the highest industry measure of environmental responsibility. The particleboard also complies with ANSI A208.1-2009 specifications.

Our door moldings are machined from high-quality, very consistent fiberboard, made from southern yellow pine from sustainable managed forests. Like our center panels, they are CARB II compliant and made of 100% pre-consumer reclaimed fibers. These materials meet ANSI 208.2-2016 quality standards.

Our doors can contribute to both LEED and National Green Building Standard credits to certify your project as an example of excellent environmental stewardship.

HINGES

Our kits come with the option of a premium-grade soft-close hinge, matching paint, cabinet end skins, pulls, and screws, conveniently packaged and ready to install.

SOFT-CLOSE, HIDDEN HINGES

These are top-of-the-line hinges. They provide a luxurious, gentle, near-silent closing action inaudible to neighboring apartments. Cam-adjustable in six directions, including vertically. Secured to the face frame by two screws. The soft-close mechanism can be switched on and off as desired. Lifetime warranty.

STANDARD, HIDDEN HINGES

Good quality hinges, made in the USA. Cam-adjustable forward and back and right to left. Vertical position adjustment is permitted by an elongated hole around a single screw mount to the cabinet face.

BUMPERS

Our bumpers are sized to match our hinges, so when the door is closed it’s perfectly square to the cabinet face. Made of crack-resistant and resilient polyurethane with aggressive rubber adhesive. Sold in sheets of 55.

PAINT

Our all surface enamel is engineered for exceptional durability and use on doors, trim, windows, and other hard wear areas. This high quality coating provides excellent resistance to weather and sunlight while maintaining its gloss and color. As a waterborne coating, it offers easy cleanup until it cures.

PAINTER’S TAPE

To protect adjacent surfaces when painting cabinet frames.

TOUCH-UP MARKERS

Quick fix for minor scratches caused by installation or regular use.

INSTALLATION ACCESSORIES

LOCATORS

Our locators make it easy to drill and mount knobs and pulls consistently as well as place hinges and false fronts accurately. Avoid the frustration and rework that comes from crooked hardware.

MOUNTING TAPE

Double-sided mounting tape simplifies positioning a drawer front perfectly on a drawer box. Apply the mounting tape to the drawer front, align the front with the surrounding doors and drawers, and then press the front against the drawer box. The mounting tape will hold the proper position while you drive screws and install pulls. Clear, to be inconspicuous. 1″ x 60″ will position approximately 30 drawers.

SCREWS – #6 X 5/8″ FLAT HEAD

High-quality, heat-treated screws for attaching hinges. Use Phillips or Posidrive screwdrivers. Sold in bags of 200.

SCREWS – #8 X 1″ WASHER HEAD

High-quality, heat-treated screws for attaching drawer boxes to drawer fronts with ½” hinge overlay. Use Phillips or Posidrive screwdrivers. Sold in bags of 60.

SCREWS -#8 X ¾” WASHER HEAD

High-High-quality, heat-treated screws for attaching drawer boxes to drawer fronts with 1¼” hinge overlay and ½” drawer box construction. Use Phillips or Posidrive screwdrivers. Sold in bags of 60.

SCREWS 8/32 X 1¼” MACHINE SCREWS

High-quality, heat-treated screws for attaching pulls to drawer fronts. Use Phillips or Posidrive screwdrivers. Sold in bags of 30.
